Description: We prepare our Sage Extract from the leaf of Salvia officinalis plants which are Certified Organically Grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides 1.

To assure optimal extraction of Sage's bioactive compounds, the leaves are hand-harvested just as the plants are coming into flower, are carefully shade-dried to retain their full color & aroma, and are then thoroughly extracted.

Our Sage is never fumigated or irradiated.
