Sustainability Statement: Because of scarcity of wild-growing Kava plants and danger of their extinction, Herb Pharm never uses wild-harvested Kava. Our Kava roots are sustainably and naturally cultivated according to ancient methods, and are guaranteed to be free of pesticides and other agricultural chemicals. However, because of the remoteness of the outer Vanuatu islands, they are not "certified" organic.
