Shopping FAQ's
Here is where you can find out answers to some frequently asked questions concerning shopping on our online store. If you have anything you would like to add, please email our webmaster at webmaster@herb-pharm.com.
How do I place my first order? Placing an order with herb-pharm.com is easy. Click on the category of products, choose the size and quantity of the products you wish to order and add them to your cart. Once you have filled your cart you can click the checkout button.
At this point you can either create an account or proceed directly to the checkout.
If you proceed directly to the checkout you will need to fill out information about yourself and your billing address. You will be asked to determine the shipping address and shipping method. You will be asked to fill in your method of payment and then you will be able to place your order.
If you choose to create an account, the process is just as easy. You will need to fill out information about yourself and your billing address and then asked to create a password for your account. Once this is done your account will be created. You will then be able to continue your ordering process.
How do I find items? There are two basic ways to find items on Herb-Pharm.com. The first is by category. Once you choose your category, the products are listed alphabetically.
The second way to find items is through the green Search button on the left of your screen. Click on this button and you will be able to write in keywords that will direct you to a list of possible products.
While we recommend using this search feature, we caution that keywords can bring up products that may not be what you are looking for. This is because the search tool looks for as series of letters that form the word, and sometimes these letters can be found within words. For example, you can write the word "art" and you will get a number of products listed, and most of them are listed because the word "part" is in each of the product descriptions.
How do I find out more about a product? Each product name has a link attached to it. Click on the link and you will get a product description page.
How do I add items to my Shopping Cart? When you get to a product that you wish to order, click on the "Add to Cart" button.
Throughout the ordering process you will have an opportunity to choose the size and quantity of each product you order.
To the right of your screen you can see which products and their quantity and size you have in your shopping cart. You can also click on the View cart button at any time and remove products or add/subtract the quantities of that product.
How do I remove items from my Shopping Cart? Please click on the shopping cart link in the sub-navigation bar. Once in the shopping cart page, you can select items by placing a check mark in the box to the left of the item you want to remove. Then click "update", and your shopping cart will be updated.
How do I proceed to Checkout? Take a moment to review all of the items you've placed in your Shopping Cart. If you decide that you don't want to purchase a particular item right away, remove it from your cart. When you're ready to place an order for everything in the "Shopping Cart Contents" click the "Checkout" button.
If you do not have an account you will be asked to fill in information about yourself and your billing address.
If you have an account you will go directly to the Delivery Information page.
How do I sign-in to My Account? The Signing-In feature is for those who have created an account.
Once you create an account, you can sign in by clicking on "My Account." You will be asked for your email and your password. Once you fill these in you will be entered into your account.
How do I enter a shipping address? We automatically insert the billing address as the shipping address. If you want your products shipped to another address all you need do is click on the "Change Address" button when you arrive on the Delivery Information page. You will then be able to insert a new shipping address. Please note that we do not ship to P.O. Box numbers.
How do I select a shipping method? You have two options UPS Ground and UPS Third Day Express. Consider how quickly you would like to receive your order, and then choose the shipping method that meets your needs. The price for shipping is right there next to the select buttons.
The shipping charge for your order will be displayed also on the order summary page just before you submit your order.
Will my password be protected? We have gone to great lengths to create a secure shopping experience. All passwords are protected by Verisign.
What kind of payment do you accept? We accept MasterCard and Visa only.
How can I be sure that my financial information is protected? Herb-Pharm.com is a VeriSign Secure Site. This means that this web site is secured by a VeriSign SSL certificate. All sensitive data is encrypted by the powerful SSL Certificate to securely process payments during online transactions.
Can I review my order before I submit it? Absolutely. In fact we recommend that you check the accuracy of all the information you provide and make any necessary adjustments. When you are ready, click the Place Your Order button to submit your order. Once you place your order, we will send you another e-mail message at the time of shipment.
How do I track my order? If you would like to track your order click the My Account link. Once you are in your account you will be able to see the status of your order. If you see the word "Delivered" that will mean that your order has been shipped.
If you need to change the particulars of your order before it has been shipped, you will have to call us up. Our toll free number is 800-348-4372 and ask for Customer Service.
